DEEP Announces Selection of 804 MW of Offshore Wind Power from Park City Wind Project
Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Commissioner Katie Dykes announced today that a bid from developer Vineyard Wind has been selected to advance to contract negotiations with the state’s electric distribution companies to provide 804 megawatts (MW) of offshore wind through the development of the Park City Wind Project.

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to host public meeting on Sleeping Giant State Park master planning efforts
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is hosting a public meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 11 in Hamden to discuss future restoration plans for Sleeping Giant State Park. The public meeting is part of a “mini-master planning” effort to restore and enhance sections of the park seriously damaged in a 2018 tornado and macro burst storm.

CT Fire Crew Members Departing for Western States to Assist U.S. Forest Service in Fighting Fires
